Journal ArticleDOI

Reversible ferromagnetic switching in ZnO:(Co, Mn) powders

TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetic properties of ZnO:Mn-and ZnCo:Co-doped nanoparticles were investigated and it was shown that ferromagnetic coupling is restricted to a very thin, nanometric layer at the grain surface.
Journal ArticleDOI

Surface Chemistry and Lithium-Ion Exchange in LiMn2O4 for the Electrochemical Selective Extraction of LiCl from Natural Salt Lake Brines

TL;DR: In this article, the surface and bulk chemistry of LixMn2O4 (0 ≤ x ≤ 1) spinel oxide electrode for the selective extraction of LiCl from natural salt lake brines using an electrochemical method based on LMO lithium intercalation electrode and polypyrrole (PPy) reversible chloride electrode.
Journal ArticleDOI

Epitaxial TbMnO3 thin films on SrTiO3 substrates: a structural study

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors show that the structure evolves from a more symmetric tetragonal structure to a less symmetric (bulk-like orthorhombic) structure, while keeping constant the in-plane compression, leaving the out-of-plane lattice spacing unchanged.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of band filling and structural distortions on the Curie temperature of Fe-Mo double perovskites

TL;DR: In this paper, the structural details of two series of compounds were characterized by means of high resolution neutron powder diffraction at low temperature, and it was shown that the enhancement of the Curie temperature in the La series is due to the electron filling of the conduction band and a concomitant rise of the density of states at the Fermi level.
