Security for 4G and 5G cellular networks

TL;DR: A comprehensive survey of authentication and privacy-preserving schemes for 4G and 5G cellular networks can be found in this paper, where the authors provide a taxonomy and comparison of authentication schemes in terms of tables.
Journal ArticleDOI

Route Optimization of Electric Vehicles Based on Dynamic Wireless Charging

TL;DR: In this article, an intelligent routing of EVs in need of charging so that they can make most efficient use of the so-called mobile energy disseminators (MEDs) which operate as mobile charging stations is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

A novel intrusion detection system against spoofing attacks in connected electric vehicles

TL;DR: A probabilistic cross-layer Intrusion Detection System (IDS), based on Machine Learning (ML) techniques, is introduced, capable of detecting spoofing attacks with more than 90 % accuracy and uses a new metric, Position Verification using Relative Speed (PVRS), which seems to have a significant effect in classification results.

Security for 4G and 5G Cellular Networks: A Survey of Existing Authentication and Privacy-preserving Schemes

TL;DR: A comprehensive survey of authentication and privacy-preserving schemes for 4G and 5G cellular networks can be found in this paper, where the authors provide an overview of existing surveys that deal with 4G communications, applications, standardization, and security.
Journal ArticleDOI

Joint Time-Domain Resource Partitioning, Rate Allocation, and Video Quality Adaptation in Heterogeneous Cellular Networks

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigate video communication in heterogeneous cellular networks (HCN) when TDRP is employed and consider the problem of maximizing the experienced video quality at all the users, by jointly optimizing the time-domain resource partitioning for the HCN, the rate allocated to each specific user, and the selected video quality transmitted to a user.
