Synthesis of TiO 2 Nanoparticles and Their Photocatalytic Activity for Methylene Blue

TL;DR: In this paper, the degradation of methylene blue dye using Titanate nanoparticles catalyst under UV light in a tubular reactor was studied using TEM and XRD, and the results showed that a percentage degradation of 97.6% could be obtained when treating an effluent with 5 ppm ofmethylene blue for 90 minutes at 0.2 g TiO2/ 400 ml of effluent and pH 12.6.
Journal ArticleDOI

Green synthesis of gold nanoparticles using Jatropha integerrima Jacq. flower extract and their antibacterial activity

TL;DR: In this paper , a gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were synthesized from Jatropha integerrima Jacq and tested against a variety of human pathogens, including B. subtilis, S. aureus, E. coli, and K. pneumoniae.
Journal ArticleDOI

Quercetin's potential to protect adult male albino rats from the health hazards of a high-fat diet on pancreatic and renal tissues

TL;DR: In this article , Quercetin proved a unique ameliorative potential against hazards of high fat diet (HFD) with multiorgan affection and proved to be a unique anti-obesity agent.
Journal ArticleDOI

Biogenic nanoscale silver particles synthesis using butter fruit pulp extract and study of antibacterial efficacy against Providencia vermicola in rohu fish

TL;DR: In this article , the green synthesis of AgNPs using butter fruit pulp extract and its antibacterial efficacy against the fish pathogen Providencia vermicola using Rohu fish was demonstrated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optimization of photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue dye using titanate nanotube

TL;DR: In this paper, Titanate nanotubes were evaluated for photocatalytic depletion of methylene blue (MB) dye under UV radiation in a cylindrical reactor, and the effect of some parameters was examined.
