Evaluation of dynamic bending moment of disconnected piled raft via centrifuge tests

TL;DR: When connected piles are used as settlement reducers, the proportion of vertical load carried by the pile may come close to the allowable load of the pile as mentioned in this paper, which is the case in the case of connected piles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Centrifuge modelling of drained pullout and compression cyclic behaviour of suction bucket

TL;DR: In this article, the tripod suction bucket foundation has been considered as an option to support offshore wind turbines in an offshore environment, and a wind turbine foundation should be designed co...
Journal ArticleDOI

Development of Site Classification System and Modification of Design Response Spectra considering Geotechnical Site Characteristics in Korea (III) - Modification of Desing Response Specra

TL;DR: In this paper, new response spectra for each site categories were determined by adjusting the integration interval of long period site coefficient second, which matched well the average spectral accelerations and new response spectrum, and it was also improved compared to the current she classification system.
Journal ArticleDOI

Centrifuge modelling for evaluation of seismic behaviour of stone masonry structure

TL;DR: In this paper, a scaled-down dynamic centrifuge modelling test is proposed for seismic risk assessments to evaluate risk of damage from a future seismic event, and the seismic behavior of a 3-storey, freestanding stone block structure has been modelled and tested within a centrifuge.
