Endogenous fraction and urinary recovery of purine derivatives obtained by different methods in Nellore cattle.

TL;DR: The data suggest that in Nellore heifers the respective values of endogenous PD excretion, urinary recovery, and true digestibility of RNA in the small intestine were 0.30, 0.80, and 0.93, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Meta-análise do impacto da fibra em detergente neutro sobre o consumo, a digestibilidade e o desempenho de vacas leiteiras em lactação

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of the chemical characteristics and in vivo NDF digestibility (IVNDFD) on intake, digestibility and performance of dairy cows in fedlot by using a meta-analysis procedure from 285 observations of sixexperiments.
Journal ArticleDOI

Prediction of the energy value of cattle diets based on the chemical composition of the feeds under tropical conditions

TL;DR: In this article, a new model that also uses a summative approach, was developed but it was based on data obtained in the tropics and it was more accurate in predicting TDN values than the NRC [National Research Council (NRC), 2001.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reparametrização do modelo baseado na lei de superfície para predição da fração digestível da fibra em detergente neutro em condições brasileiras

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors avaliou estimativas da fracao digestivel da FDN (CDFDNP) in bovinos with the aim of avaliar a set of parâmetros basicos sao: fator de protecao da lignina sobre os carboidratos da parede celular vegetal (FPL) and coeficiente de digestibilidade da FRFDNP.
