Boron azides in Staudinger oxidations and cycloadditions
TL;DR: Staudinger reactions ofCy2BN3 with tri-substituted phosphines (R3P) yielded the boron-nitrogen-phosphorus linked systems Cy2BN=PR3 (R = Et, (t)Bu, Cy, Ph) (1a-1d respectively).
Journal ArticleDOI
Hydroboration without a B–H bond: reactions of the borinium cation [(iPr2N)2B]+ with alkyne, nitrile, ketone and diazomethane
TL;DR: The nature and reaction of 1+ with PhCCH was probed computationally and the reduction of these unsaturates is shown to occur via hydride transfer from an isopropyl group to the alkyne, thus effecting hydroboration without a B-H bond.
Journal ArticleDOI
Metal-mediated synthesis of thiol derivatives : synthesis and reactivity of the thiatitanacyclopropane complex cpti(schch2ch2s)2
Journal ArticleDOI
Bipyridinium and Phenanthrolinium Dications for Metal-Free Hydrodefluorination: Distinctive Carbon-Based Reactivity.
Katherine I. Burton,Iris Elser,Alexander E. Waked,Tobias Wagener,Ryan Andrews,Frank Glorius,Douglas W. Stephan +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the development of novel Lewis acids derived from bipyridinium and phenanthrolinium dications is reported and evaluated for use in the initiation of hydrodefluorination (HDF) catalysis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Titanium complexes of amidophosphinimide ligands
TL;DR: Compounds, using 2 equiv.
