Optimal CMOS inverter design using differential evolution algorithm

TL;DR: In this paper, optimal switching characteristics of a CMOS inverter are realized using an evolutionary optimization approach called differential evolution (DE) algorithm that establishes the DE as a more competent candidate to other aforementioned evolutionary algorithms in terms of accuracy and convergence speed.
Book ChapterDOI

Optimal Stable IIR Low Pass Filter Design Using Modified Firefly Algorithm

TL;DR: From the simulation study it is established that the proposed optimization technique MFFA outperforms RGA and PSO, not only in the accuracy of the designed filter but also in the convergence speed and the solution quality, i.e., the stop band attenuation, transition width, pass band and stop band ripples.
Journal Article

Read stability and power analysis of a proposed novel 8 transistor static random access memory cell in 45 nm technology

TL;DR: It is shown that the proposed SRAM cell has better static noise margin and dissipates lesser power in comparison to other SRAM cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Directivity improvement and optimal far field pattern of time modulated concentric circular antenna array using hybrid evolutionary algorithms

TL;DR: Time modulated nine-ring concentric circular antenna array (TMCCAA) using fitness based novel hybrid adaptive differential evolution with particle swarm optimization (ADEPSO) has been studied and numerical results show Case-2, outperforms Case-1 with respect to better side lobe level (SLL), and more improved directivity.
Journal ArticleDOI

An optimal time modulated compact circular antenna array design using a stochastic optimization technique

TL;DR: In this article, a time modulated far-field radiation pattern synthesis of a compact circular antenna array (CAA) by employing a stochastic optimization technique known as grey wolf optimization is presented.
