Journal ArticleDOI
Isolation and Characterization of a myo-inositol-1-phosphate Synthase Gene from Yellow Passion Fruit (Passiflora edulis f. flavicarpa) Expressed During Seed Development and Environmental Stress
TL;DR: Experimental data suggest that PeMIPS1 transcription plays an important role in the establishment of developmental programmes and during the response of plants to environmental changes, suggesting that it is important for environmental stress response.
Journal ArticleDOI
Transmission of the Bean-Associated Cytorhabdovirus by the Whitefly Bemisia tabaci MEAM1
Bruna Pinheiro-Lima,Bruna Pinheiro-Lima,R. C. Pereira-Carvalho,D. M. T. Alves-Freitas,Elliot W. Kitajima,Andreza H. Vidal,Andreza H. Vidal,Cristiano Lacorte,Marcio Tadeu Godinho,Rafaela S. Fontenele,Josias C. Faria,E. F. M. Abreu,Arvind Varsani,Arvind Varsani,Simone G. Ribeiro,Fernando L. Melo +15 more
TL;DR: Examination of the potential of the Bemisia tabaci Middle East-Asia Minor 1 (MEAM1) to transmit BaCV, its morphological and cytopathological characteristics, and the incidence of BaCV across bean producing areas in Brazil show that BaCV is efficiently transmitted by B. tabaci MEAM1 to bean cultivars, and with lower efficiency to cowpea and soybean.
Journal ArticleDOI
Identification of Passiflora spp. genotypes resistant to Cowpea aphid-borne mosaic virus and leaf anatomical response under controlled conditions
Zanon Santana Gonçalves,Lucas Kennedy Silva Lima,Taliane Leila Soares,E. F. M. Abreu,Cristiane de Jesus Barbosa,C. B. M. Cerqueira-Silva,Onildo Nunes de Jesus,Eder Jorge de Oliveira +7 more
TL;DR: The difference in the severity of CABMV among genotypes for resistance to the CABVV opens new perspectives for crossing these genotypes as parents in order to incorporate resistance to CABmV in passion fruit.
Journal ArticleDOI
