Formulation of Ceramic Foams: a New Class of Amphiphiles
TL;DR: In this paper, amino acids are proposed and assessed as a new class of amphiphiles that is more environmentally benign and present a wider operational window than those reported in the literature, and the effects of the amphiphile concentration and structure on the foam properties were investigated (e.g. porosity, bubble size distribution).

Kinetic Based Deactivation Modelling of an Isothermal Propane Dehydrogenation Reactor
TL;DR: In this paper, a simple intrinsic deactivation model is derived and fitted based on the accumulated carbonaceous species on the catalyst surface, which can be successfully used to predict the catalyst activity change and performance of a given isothermal reactor.
Book ChapterDOI
Modelling for design of a deactivating non-isothermal propane dehydrogenation reactor
TL;DR: In this paper, a kinetic-based deactivation model is used to compare the performance of a deactivating propane dehydrogenation catalytic reactor with other potential commercial and other potential reactor designs, and it is concluded that the best design for abatement of deactivation is near isothermal with a gentle, increase in temperature through the reactor.
