The effect of gas bubbles on flash evaporation
Noam Lior,Enju Nishiyama +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect on evaporation rates of air content in flashing water was investigated experimentally in a scaled-down open-channel flash evaporator, where water was at 97°C-98°C, the flash-down temperature differences were up to about 2°C and air content was up to 6.32 ppm.
Journal ArticleDOI
Some experiments on flash evaporation enhancement by electrolytically generated bubbles
Noam Lior,Enju Nishiyama +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a scaled-down stage of a multi-stage flash evaporator at about 100°C was used to examine the effects of electrolytically generated hydrogen bubbles on flash evaporation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Superconducting Magnet Producing a Cusp Type Magnetic Field for High Temperature Plasma Trapping
Tadashi Sekiguchi,Mitsumori Tanimoto,Akio Kitsunezaki,Katsuhiro Akashi,Masatami Iwamoto,Enju Nishiyama +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a cusp-type magnetic field was constructed by a pair of superconducting magnets, which was used to trap high temperature plasma, using a liquid helium vessel.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development Status of Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell
Atsushi Fukutome,Enju Nishiyama +1 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Endurance Characteristics of Internal Reforming Molten Carbonate Fuel Cells
TL;DR: In this article, a correlation equation has been derived relating between the surface area or specific dameter of catalysts and modified operation time, which explains the effect of operating temperature on the deactivation of the catalysts.
