Journal ArticleDOI
The nitrogen-nitrogen stretching band in hydrazine derivatives and complexes
Journal ArticleDOI
Palladium(II) complexes containing a P, N chelating ligand Part II. Synthesis and characterisation of complexes with different hydrazinic ligands. Catalytic activity in the hydrogenation of double and triple C-C bonds
Alessia Bacchi,Mauro Carcelli,M. Costa,A. Leporati,Enrico Leporati,Paolo Pelagatti,Corrado Pelizzi,Giancarlo Pelizzi +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the catalytic activity of all the complexes in homogeneous hydrogenation of terminal double and triple bonds was tested with particular regards to the chemoselectivity from triple to double bond.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, characterisation and biological activity of three copper (II) complexes with a modified nitrogenous base: 5-formyluracil thiosemicarbazone.
Marisa Belicchi Ferrari,Giovanna Gasparri Fava,Enrico Leporati,Giorgio Pelosi,Rossana Rossi,Pieralberto Tarasconi,Roberto Albertini,Antonio Bonati,Paolo Lunghi,Silvana Pinelli +9 more
TL;DR: Three Cu(II) co-ordination compounds with a novel ligand, 5-formyluracil thiosemicarbazone (H3ut), have been synthesised and characterised by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and subsequently tested in vitro on human leukemic cells and demonstrated to inhibit cell growth and induce apoptosis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Chelating behaviour of methyl 2-pyridyl ketone carbono- and thiocarbonohydrazones in copper(II) and zinc(II) complexes
Alessia Bacchi,A. Bonini,Mauro Carcelli,Fabrizio Ferraro,Enrico Leporati,Corrado Pelizzi,Giancarlo Pelizzi +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the compounds bis(methyl 2-pyridyl ketone) carbono-(H2L1) and thiocarbono-hydrazone (H 2L2) have been synthesized, their protonation constants obtained through spectrophotometric studies and their crystal structures determined by X-ray diffractometry.
Journal ArticleDOI
Palladium(ii) complexes containing a p, n chelating ligand. part iii. influence of the basicity of tridentate hydrazonic ligands on the hydrogenating activity of unsaturated c-c bonds
Paolo Pelagatti,Alessia Bacchi,Mauro Carcelli,Mirco Costa,Andrea Fochi,Patrizia Ghidini,Enrico Leporati,Maurizio Masi,Corrado Pelizzi,Giancarlo Pelizzi +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, several potentially tridentate hydrazonic ligands containing a PNO donor atom set were synthesized and used to prepare the corresponding acetato palladium(II) complexes.
