TL;DR: In this paper, diagnostic testing data from each house on a premises infected during a LPAI H5N2 outbreak in the state of Minnesota in the United States in 2018 was used to estimate the time of virus introduction and adequate contact rate, which determines the rate of disease spread.

SARS-CoV-2 utilization of ACE2 from different bat species allows for virus entry and replication in vitro

TL;DR: In this article , the ACE2 receptor of seven bat species was found to support attachment and replication of the original SARS-CoV-2 Wuhan lineage virus, as well as two variants, Delta and Lambda.
