Estimated Global Proportions of Individuals With Persistent Fatigue, Cognitive, and Respiratory Symptom Clusters Following Symptomatic COVID-19 in 2020 and 2021.

Sarah Wulf Hanson, +126 more
- 10 Oct 2022 -
TL;DR: This study presents estimates of the proportion of individuals with at least 1 of the 3 self-reported Long COVID symptom clusters in 2020 and 2021, which were more common in women aged 20 years or older by sex and for both sexes of nonhospitalized individuals younger than 20 years of age.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hydroxy-PCBs, PBDEs, and HBCDDs in serum from an elderly population of Swedish fishermen's wives and associations with bone density

TL;DR: No associations were found between bone mineral density or biochemical markers of bone metabolism and the analyzed environmental pollutants, and the association between these pollutants and bone density was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Intra-individual variations and time trends 1991-2001 in human serum levels of PCB, DDE and hexachlorobenzene.

TL;DR: A continuing decrease in human body burdens of PCBs, DDE and HCB during the 1990s is supported, with the explanatory factors relative change of BMI and fish consumption explained only a minor part of the time-related variations in serum levels.
Journal ArticleDOI

Direct or subacute coronary angiography in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (DISCO)-An initial pilot-study of a randomized clinical trial

TL;DR: In this out-of-hospital cardiac arrest population without ST-elevation, randomization to a strategy to perform immediate coronary angiography was feasible although the time window of 120 min from EMS arrival at the scene of the arrest to start of coronary angIography was not achieved.
Journal ArticleDOI

Associations between CB-153 and p,p'-DDE and hormone levels in serum in middle-aged and elderly men.

TL;DR: The results gives some additional support for that POP exposure may affect HPT- and HPG-axes also in humans, but the overall epidemiological data is still not coherent enough to allow any firm conclusions.
