Knappskog,Nine V A M Knoers,Ronald Roepman,Heleen H. Arts +36 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that isolated nephronophthisis, Jeune, and Sensenbrenner syndromes are clinically overlapping disorders that can result from a similar molecular cause.
Journal ArticleDOI
Congenital stromal dystrophy of the cornea caused by a mutation in the decorin gene.
Cecilie Bredrup,Per M. Knappskog,Per M. Knappskog,Jacek Majewski,Eyvind Rødahl,Helge Boman,Helge Boman +6 more
TL;DR: The authors hypothesize that truncated decorin binds to collagen in a suboptimal way, disturbing the regularity of corneal collagen fibril formation and thereby causing cornesal opacities.
Journal ArticleDOI
Gamma knife stereotactic radiosurgery for acromegaly.
Einar Osland Vik-Mo,Marianne Øksnes,Paal-Henning Pedersen,Tore Wentzel-Larsen,Eyvind Rødahl,Frits Thorsen,Thomas Schreiner,Sylvi Aanderud,Morten Lund-Johansen +8 more
TL;DR: GKR is an effective adjuvant treatment for residual acromegaly, carrying few side effects and consecutive hormone value analysis showed that patients receiving GH-suppressive medication had a more rapid decline in hypersecretion than those who did not receive such medication.
Journal ArticleDOI
Primary Sjögren's syndrome and the eye.
Oddbjørn Bjordal,Katrine Brække Norheim,Eyvind Rødahl,Roland Jonsson,Roald Omdal,Roald Omdal +5 more
TL;DR: An update of interest to ophthalmologists regarding pathogenesis, diagnosis, investigative procedures, and treatment options of primary Sjögren syndrome is provided.
Journal ArticleDOI
Transcription from the Gene Encoding the Herpesvirus Entry Receptor Nectin-1 (HveC) in Nervous Tissue of Adult Mouse
TL;DR: Results show that the nectin-1 gene is widely transcribed in neurons in adult mouse, and its pattern of expression in the nervous system suggests a key role in neurological disease caused by these viruses.
