Journal ArticleDOI
Source-to-sink transport of sugar and regulation by environmental factors
Rémi Lemoine,Sylvain La Camera,Rossitza Atanassova,Fabienne Dédaldéchamp,Thierry Allario,Nathalie Pourtau,Jean-Louis Bonnemain,Maryse Laloi,Pierre Coutos-Thévenot,Laurence Maurousset,Mireille Faucher,Christine Girousse,Pauline Lemonnier,Jonathan Parrilla,Mickaël Durand +14 more
TL;DR: Current knowledge about the phloem transport mechanisms is summarized and the effects of several abiotic (water and salt stress, mineral deficiency, CO2, light, temperature, air, and soil pollutants) and biotic andmutualistic and pathogenic microbes, viruses, aphids, and parasitic plants are reviewed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Isogene specific oligo arrays reveal multifaceted changes in gene expression during grape berry (Vitis vinifera L.) development
Nancy Terrier,David Glissant,Jérôme Grimplet,François Barrieu,Philippe Abbal,Carole Couture,Agnès Ageorges,Rossitza Atanassova,Céline Léon,Jean-Pierre Renaudin,Fabienne Dédaldéchamp,Charles Romieu,Serge Delrot,Saïd Hamdi +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used 50-mers oligoarrays bearing a set of 3,200 Unigenes from Vitis vinifera to compare berry transcriptome at nine developmental stages.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Sugar-Signaling Hub: Overview of Regulators and Interaction with the Hormonal and Metabolic Network.
Soulaiman Sakr,Ming Wang,Fabienne Dédaldéchamp,Maria-Dolores Perez-Garcia,Laurent Ogé,Latifa Hamama,Rossitza Atanassova +6 more
TL;DR: The present review emphasizes the diversity of sugar signaling integrators, the main molecular and biochemical mechanisms related to the sugar-signaling dependent regulations, and to the regulatory hubs acting in the interplay of the Sugar-hormone and sugar-nitrogen networks.
Journal ArticleDOI
VvHT1 encodes a monosaccharide transporter expressed in the conducting complex of the grape berry phloem
Céline Vignault,Magali Vachaud,Birsen Çakir,David Glissant,Fabienne Dédaldéchamp,Michael Büttner,Rossitza Atanassova,Pierrette Fleurat-Lessard,Rémi Lemoine,Serge Delrot +9 more
TL;DR: The expression and functional properties of VvHT1 suggests that it retrieves the monosaccharides needed to provide the energy necessary for cell division and cell growth at an early stage of berry development.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of cultural conditions on the hemp (Cannabis sativa) phloem fibres: Biological development and mechanical properties
Audrey Abot,Claire Bonnafous,Fabienne Touchard,Florence Thibault,Laurence Chocinski-Arnault,Rémi Lemoine,Fabienne Dédaldéchamp +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of different cultural parameters on some characteristics of hemp fibres were studied: variety, soil drought during plant cultivation and water-retting process, and results showed that there was no significant influence on studied properties of the hemp variety and of water retting.
