Journal ArticleDOI
Correction: Corrigendum: αB-crystallin interacts with and prevents stress-activated proteolysis of focal adhesion kinase by calpain in cardiomyocytes
Michelle B. M. Pereira,Aline M. Santos,Danieli C. Gonçalves,Alisson C. Cardoso,Sílvio Roberto Consonni,Fabio C. Gozzo,Paulo S. Oliveira,Ana Margarida Pereira,Alana R. Figueiredo,Ana O. Tiroli-Cepeda,Carlos H.I. Ramos,André A. de Thomaz,Carlos L. Cesar,Kleber G. Franchini +13 more
TL;DR: An image in Supplementary Fig. 11a in this Article, representing the negative control, was inadvertently duplicated from the ‘myc-FAK’-transfected group, and the correct version of the figure appearsbelow.
Journal ArticleDOI
Gaseous supramolecules of imidazolium ionic liquids: "magic" numbers and intrinsic strengths of hydrogen bonds.
Fabio C. Gozzo,Leonardo S. Santos,Rodinei Augusti,Crestina S. Consorti,Jairton Dupont,Marcos N. Eberlin +5 more
TL;DR: Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) is found to gently and efficiently transfer small to large as well as singly to multiply charged [X+]n[A-]m supramolecules of imidazolium ion (X+) ionic liquids to the gas phase, and to reveal "magic numbers" for their most favored assemblies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Antioxidant, antimicrobial activities and characterization of phenolic compounds from buriti (Mauritia flexuosa L. f.) by UPLC–ESI-MS/MS
Hector H. F. Koolen,Felipe M. A. da Silva,Fabio C. Gozzo,Antonia Queiroz Lima de Souza,Afonso D. L. de Souza +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported the antioxidant, antimicrobial activities and characterization of phenolics from buriti leafs, trunk and fruit extracts, which indicated that the presence of compounds with potent free-radical-scavenging activity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Novel Natural Peptide Substrates for Endopeptidase 24.15, Neurolysin, and Angiotensin-converting Enzyme
Vanessa Rioli,Fabio C. Gozzo,Andrea S. Heimann,Alessandra Linardi,José Eduardo Krieger,Cláudio S. Shida,Paulo C. Almeida,Stephen Hyslop,Marcos N. Eberlin,Emer S. Ferro +9 more
TL;DR: A role for hemopressin as a vasoactive substance in vivo is suggested and identified new peptide substrates for these enzymes, using catalytically inactive forms of ep24.15 and ep 24.16 as putative intracellular substrates.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mass spectrometric quantitation of chiral drugs by the kinetic method.
TL;DR: A novel mass spectrometric method for rapid, accurate (2-4% ee) quantitation of chiral drugs is described, to allow determination of mixtures with a few percent enantiomeric contamination.
