High-Sensitivity Gas Detection with Air-Lasing-Assisted Coherent Raman Spectroscopy
Zhihao Zhang,Fangbo Zhang,Bo Xu,Hong-Quan Xie,Botao Fu,Xu Lu,Ning Zhang,Shupeng Yu,Jinping Yao,Ya Cheng,Zhizhan Xu +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper , air lasing naturally created inside a filament can serve as an ideal light source to probe Raman coherence excited by the femtosecond pump, producing coherent Raman signal with molecular vibrational signatures.
Journal ArticleDOI
Three-Dimensional Laser Printing of Macro-Scale Glass Objects at a Micro-Scale Resolution.
Peng Wang,Wei Chu,Wenbo Li,Wenbo Li,Yuanxin Tan,Fang Liu,Min Wang,Jia Qi,Jintian Lin,Fangbo Zhang,Zhanshan Wang,Ya Cheng +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrate the fabrication of macro-scale 3D glass objects of large heights up to 3.8 cm with an identical lateral and longitudinal feature size of ~20 μm.
Journal ArticleDOI
Extremely nonlinear Raman interaction of an ultrashort nitrogen ion laser with an impulsively excited molecular wave packet
Zhaoxiang Liu,Jinping Yao,Haisu Zhang,Bo Xu,Chen Jinming,Chen Jinming,Fangbo Zhang,Zhihao Zhang,Zhihao Zhang,Yuexin Wan,Wei Chu,Zhenhua Wang,Ya Cheng +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a femtosecond-laser-induced N-2(+) lasing was used to generate cascaded rotational Raman signals with more than 600 sidebands.
Journal ArticleDOI
Free-space Ν2+ lasers generated in strong laser fields: the role of molecular vibration
Bo Xu,Shicheng Jiang,Jinping Yao,Chen Jinming,Zhaoxiang Liu,Wei Chu,Yuexin Wan,Fangbo Zhang,Lingling Qiao,Ruifeng Lu,Ya Cheng,Zhizhan Xu +11 more
TL;DR: The theoretical analysis reveals that the different gain behaviors can be attributed to the vibrational distribution of populations in X2Σg+(v=0) and X2 Greek states as the N2+ ions are generated by photoionization in the laser fields, giving rise to more robust (i.e., less sensitive to the pump laser wavelength) population inversion for generating the 428 nm laser.

Three-dimensional laser printing of macro-scale glass objects at a micro-scale resolution
Peng Wang,Wei Chu,Wei Li,Yuanxin Tan,Fang Liu,Min Wang,Zhe Wang,Jia Qi,Jintian Lin,Fangbo Zhang,Zhanshan Wang,Ya Cheng +11 more
TL;DR: This work demonstrates the fabrication of macro-scale 3D glass objects of large heights up to ~3.8 cm with an identical lateral and longitudinal feature size of ~20 μm by revealing an unexplored regime in the interaction of ultrafast laser pulses with fused silica, which results in depth-insensitive focusing of the laser pulses inside fusedsilica.
