High resolution transmission spectrum of the Earth's atmosphere -- Seeing Earth as an exoplanet using a lunar eclipse
Fei Yan,R. A. E. Fosbury,M. G. Petr-Gotzens,Gang Zhao,Wei Wang,Lei Wang,Yujuan Liu,Enric Palle +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a high-resolution and high signal-to-noise ratio transmission spectrum of the Earth's atmosphere was obtained by observing a total lunar eclipse in 2011, which offers a similar configuration to that of an exoplanet transit.
Atmospheric composition of WASP-85Ab with ESPRESSO/VLT observations
Zewen Jiang,Wei Wang,Guo Chen,Fei Yan,Heather M. Cegla,Patricio Rojo,Yaqing Shi,Meng Zhai,Yujuan Liu,Fei Zhao,Yuqin Chen +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors obtained the transmission spectra of the extrasolar planet WASP-85Ab, a hot Jupiter in a 2.655-day orbit around a G5, V=11.2 mag host star, observed by high-resolution spectrograph ESPRESSO at the Very Large Telescope array for three transits.

The obliquity and atmosphere of the ultra-hot Jupiter TOI-1431b (MASCARA-5b): A misaligned orbit and no signs of atomic ormolecular absorptions
M. Stangret,Enric Palle,N. Casasayas-Barris,Mahmoudreza Oshagh,A. Bello-Arufe,Rafael Luque,V. Nascimbeni,Fei Yan,J. Orell-Miquel,Daniela Sicilia,L. Malavolta,Brett C. Addison,Lars A. Buchhave,A. S. Bonomo,Francesco Borsa,Samuel H. C. Cabot,Massimo Cecconi,Debra A. Fischer,Ararat Harutyunyan,João M. Mendonça,Grzegorz Nowak,Hannu Parviainen,Alessandro Sozzetti,René Tronsgaard +23 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present an analysis of the newly discovered ultra-hot Jupiter TOI-1431b/MASCARA-5b, using two transit observations with the HARPS-N spectrograph and one transit observation with the EXPRES spectrogram.

The PEPSI Exoplanet Transit Survey (PETS). III. The detection of Fe i, Cr i, and Ti i in the atmosphere of MASCARA-1 b through high-resolution emission spectroscopy
Gaetano Scandariato,Francesco Borsa,Aldo S. Bonomo,B. S. Gaudi,Th. Henning,Ilya Ilyin,M. Johnson,Luca Malavolta,Matthias Mallonn,Karan Molaverdikhani,Valerio Nascimbeni,Jennifer Patience,Lorenzo Pino,Katja Poppenhaeger,Everett Schlawin,Evgenya L. Shkolnik,D. Sicilia,Alessandro Sozzetti,Klaus G. Strassmeier,Christian Veillet,J. Wang,Fei Yan +21 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors used the spectrograph PEPSI to observe MASCARA-1 (spectral type A8) near the secondary eclipse of the planet and obtained the detection of FeI, CrI and TiI in the atmosphere with a S/N ~7, 4 and 5 respectively.
