Journal ArticleDOI

Impact of endometriosis on quality of life and work productivity: a multicenter study across ten countries

TL;DR: Endometriosis impairs HRQoL and work productivity across countries and ethnicities, yet women continue to experience diagnostic delays in primary care, and a higher index of suspicion is needed to expedite specialist assessment of symptomatic women.
Journal ArticleDOI

Assessment of the safety of long-term bazedoxifene treatment on the reproductive tract in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis: Results of a 7-year, randomized, placebo-controlled, phase 3 study

TL;DR: BZA was associated with a favorable reproductive safety profile in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis over 7 years and this was a second, blinded, 2-year extension of a 3-year, randomized, double-blind, placebo (PBO)- and active-controlled phase 3 trial.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hormone receptor status in human endometrial adenocarcinoma.

TL;DR: Qualitative and quantitative analysis of the receptor status showed that in 30% to 40% of cases studied the behavior of the neoplastic cell was similar to that found in the normal endometrial cell, and there is better survival in the groups of patients with a simultaneous presence of ERt and PRt than in the group with their absence.
Journal ArticleDOI

Natural Interferon-β Treatment and Steroid Hormone Receptors in Primary Endometrial Cancer

TL;DR: The ER and PR enhancement, which was simultaneous in at least 50% of patients, and the increase of over 100 fmol/mg protein observed in some cases suggest that IFN-beta exerts a profound influence on receptor expression and, probably, on the hormone sensitivity of the tumor.
