Journal ArticleDOI

Comparison of the First and Second Cryoballoon High-Volume Single-Center Safety and Efficacy Analysis

TL;DR: In this article, the authors compared the safety and efficacy of CB ablation with spiral mapping in 484 patients with symptomatic atrial fibrillation at 1 year, and found that CBG1 and CBG2 achieved high rates of acute pulmonary vein (PV) isolation within a significant faster and less complex procedure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pulmonary vein electrophysiology during cryoballoon ablation as a predictor for procedural success

TL;DR: This study, the largest to date, showed that real-time monitoring of PV conduction during cryoballoon freezing can be safely performed with a circular mapping catheter.
