Development of a biometric method to estimate age on hand radiographs
Floriane Remy,Gabriela Hossu,Romain Cendre,Emilien Micard,Laurence Mainard-Simard,Jacques Felblinger,Laurent Martrille,Loïc Lalys +7 more
TL;DR: Estimating an age from the biometric information of metacarpals and proximal phalanges is promising and can be estimated with a mean standard error which never exceeds 1 year for the 95% confidence interval.
Journal ArticleDOI
Management of the pediatric OSAS: what about simultaneously expand the maxilla and advance the mandible? A retrospective non-randomized controlled cohort study.
Floriane Remy,Emile Boyer,C. Daniel,Emeline Rousval,Philippe Moisdon,Philippe Burgart,Pierre Bonnaure,Yves Godio-Raboutet,Laurent Guyot,Vincent Meuric,Lionel Thollon +10 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors evaluated the efficiency of simultaneous maxillary expansion and mandibular advancement for the management of pediatric respiratory OSAS, and found that after nine months (±3 months) of treatment, respiratory symptoms significantly improved: the AHI significantly decreased as it became inferior to the pathological threshold.
Journal ArticleDOI
New Approach of Civil Age Estimation Based on the Study of Permanent Teeth Eruption
TL;DR: The Bengston’s revisited stages illustrated by AlQhatani et al. in 2010 were used to build a linear regression model for age estimation of children and the estimated age showed a good correlation with civil age, and a good accuracy rate.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization of the very young child's palatal vault growth pattern: how do its size and shape evolve?
Floriane Remy,Yves Godio-Raboutet,Guillaume Captier,Philippe Burgart,Pierre Bonnaure,Lionel Thollon,Laurent Guyot +6 more
TL;DR: In this article , the shape and size evolution of the palatal vault during the first years of life was not only correlated with deciduous dentition development, but also explained the progressive orofacial muscles activation and tongue movements in the oral cavity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of LED photobiomodulation on dental implant osseointegration: An in vivo study
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors evaluate the efficiency of LED-PBM on the dental implant osseointegration, and demonstrate that LED-pBM may improve and accelerate dental implant implant transplantation.
