Journal ArticleDOI
BiCaSrCuO-Semiconductor interface formation processes
Yeukuang Hwu,Luca Lozzi,S. La Rosa,Marino Marsi,Marshall Onellion,Helmuth Berger,F. Gozzo,Francis Lévy,Giorgio Margaritondo +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the deposition of Si and Ge on single-crystal BiCaSrCuO was studied with synchrotron-radiation photoemission and clear evidence was found for substitutional reactions involving Bi.
Journal ArticleDOI
Low temperature thermal conductivity of quasi-one dimensional compounds (NbSe4)3I and (TaSe4)2I
Ana Smontara,J.C. Lasjaunias,Pierre Monceau,J. Mazuer,Marian Apostol,Francis Lévy,Helmuth Berger,Z. Bihar,Katica Biljaković +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the thermal conductivity of quasi-one dimensional conductors (TaSe 4 ) 2 I and NbSe 4 3 I in the temperature region between 70 mK and 4K was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural and chemical properties of sputter-deposited Ti–Ge–N thin films
TL;DR: In this article, a nanocrystalline multilayer film is formed, where the suppression of crystal growth is controlled by the successive deposition of two phases, and the properties of alternate-deposited films are compared to those of co-deposed ones and interpreted.

Nanoscale single- and multi-photon mapping of optical fields
David Bitauld,Francesco Marsili,Alessandro Gaggero,Francesco Mattioli,Roberto Leoni,Saeedeh Jahanmiri Nejad,Francis Lévy,Andrea Fiore +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a single-photon sensitivity and a nanosecond response was achieved for a nanoscale detector with a detection threshold of N = 1, 2, 3 or 4 photons.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Superconducting photon number resolving counter for near infrared applications
Alexander Korneev,Alexander Divochiy,Francesco Marsili,D. Bitauld,Andrea Fiore,V. Seleznev,N. S. Kaurova,M. Tarkhov,Olga Minaeva,G. M. Chulkova,Konstantin Smirnov,Alessandro Gaggero,Roberto Leoni,Francesco Mattioli,Konstantinos G. Lagoudakis,Moushab Benkhaoul,Francis Lévy,Gregory Goltsman +17 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a photon number resolving detector based on 120nm-wide superconducting stripes made of 4.4-nm-thick NbN film and connected in parallel.
