Preventing Hospitalizations From Acute Exacerbations of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
TL;DR: Treatment of exacerbations of chronic obstructive lung disease often does not require hospitalization but can be safely executed in the outpatient setting, and follow‐up care after an exacerbation has resolved is important.
