Poly(vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene) (PVdF-HFP) based composite electrolytes for lithium batteries
TL;DR: In this paper, composite polymer electrolyte (CPE) membranes, comprising of poly(vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene) (PVdF-HFP), aluminum oxyhydroxide, (AlO[OH]n) of two different particle sizes 7μm/14nm and LiN(CF3SO2)2 as lithium salt were prepared using solution casting technique.
Journal ArticleDOI
Impact of alkaline metal ions Mg2+, Ca2+, Sr2+ and Ba2+ on the structural, optical, thermal and antibacterial properties of ZnO nanoparticles prepared by the co-precipitation method
Abdulrahman Syedahamed Haja Hameed,Chandrasekaran Karthikeyan,Seemaisamy Sasikumar,Venugopal Senthil Kumar,S. Kumaresan,Ganesan Ravi +5 more
TL;DR: The antibacterial studies performed against a set of bacterial strains showed that the Mg-doped ZnO NPs possessed a greater antibacterial effect than the other alkaline metal ion-doping Zn O NPs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Optical and magnetic studies on Gd doped ZnO nanoparticles synthesized by co-precipitation method
TL;DR: Gadolinium (Gd) doped zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles (NPs) with hexagonal wurtzite structure was synthesized via a co-precipitation method as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ferrimagnetism in cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4) nanoparticles
B. Jansi Rani,M. Ravina,Balasubramaniam Saravanakumar,Ganesan Ravi,V. Ganesh,Subbiah Ravichandran,Rathinam Yuvakkumar +6 more
TL;DR: Ferrimagnetic cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4) nanoparticles were synthesized by employing co-precipitation method as mentioned in this paper, and the product physico-chemical and magnetic properties with respect to cetyl trimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), hexamethylenetetramine (HMT) and polyethylene glycol (PEG-400) surfactants were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Studies on organic indole-3-aldehyde single crystals
TL;DR: In this paper, a new organic nonlinear material for which its solubility in methanol and acetone was found out using the apparatus fabricated by the authors, in order to get the good-quality crystals, methods of evaporation of solvent at room temperature and slow cooling of saturated solution at boiling temperature were adopted.
