Journal ArticleDOI
Single crystal superconductor nanowires by electrodeposition
Ge Yi,Walther Schwarzacher +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the growth of single crystal wires requires a greater departure from equilibrium conditions (greater overpotential) than the growing of polycrystalline ones.
Journal ArticleDOI
Current perpendicular to plane giant magnetoresistance of multilayered nanowires electrodeposited in anodic aluminum oxide membranes
TL;DR: In this article, CoNi-Cu/Cu multilayered nanowires were prepared by electrodeposition using nanoporous aluminum oxide membranes rather than the more usual track-etched polycarbonate membranes as templates.
Journal ArticleDOI
Metal nanostructures prepared by template electrodeposition
Walther Schwarzacher,O. I. Kasyutich,P.R. Evans,M.G. Darbyshire,Ge Yi,V.M. Fedosyuk,F. Rousseaux,Edmond Cambril,Dominique Decanini +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, it is shown that template electrodeposition in natural or artificial holes in an insulating layer on a conducting substrate offers an inexpensive route to the fabrication of patterned metal films, in some cases with structures that cannot be produced by any other method.
