Journal ArticleDOI

In Situ Observations of Electrochemical Inclusion of Copper and Iron Species in a Conducting Organic Polymer by Using Time‐Resolved X‐Ray Absorption Spectroscopy

TL;DR: In this paper, a comparative in situ time-resolved X-ray absorption study of the electrochemical inclusion of copper and iron species in poly(3-methylthiophene) is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

SFG Study of Thiocyanate Ion Adsorption onto Polycrystalline Au Electrode and Electrodeposited Metallic Thin Films

TL;DR: In this paper, the sum frequency generation (SFG) characteristics of thiocyanate ions adsorbed on polycrystalline gold electrodes and on electrodeposited cobalt and nickel films are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Directly illuminated photodiode array as a position sensitive detector for synchrotron X-ray radiation

TL;DR: In this article, a system of a cooled directly illuminated photodiode array of 1024 pixels 25 μm apart is described and the spatial resolution has been measured and is better than 50 μm (2 pixels).
Journal ArticleDOI

VALENCE STATES AND LOCAL ENVIRONMENT OF THALLIUM AND COPPER IONS IN SOME NEW HIGH Tc SUPERCONDUCTORS BY XAS

TL;DR: In this article, the valence states of cations inside four high Tc thallium superconductors have been investigated by X-ray absorption spectroscopy at LIII, LI and copper K-edges.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spatially resolved electronic modifications of a thin poly(acrylonitrile) film induced by a synchrotron radiation white beam

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of synchrotron radiation white beam on poly(acrylonitrile) (PAN) films have been investigated and shown to be similar to graphite, with highly delocalized electrons located just below Fermi level.
