Journal ArticleDOI
Allergy to bovine beta-lactoglobulin: specificity of human IgE to tryptic peptides.
I. Selo,Gilles Clément,Hervé Bernard,Jean-Marc Chatel,Christophe Créminon,Gabriel Peltre,J.-M. Wal +6 more
TL;DR: Bovine β‐lactoglobulin chemical hydrolysates appeared to retain most of the immunoreactivity of the native protein, and allergenicity of Blg has already been shown to be associated with the four peptides derived from cyanogen bromide cleavage of BlG.
Journal ArticleDOI
Leaf Fructose Content Is Controlled by the Vacuolar Transporter SWEET17 in Arabidopsis
Fabien Chardon,Magali Bedu,Fanny Calenge,Patrick A.W. Klemens,Lara Spinner,Lara Spinner,Gilles Clément,Giorgiana Chietera,Sophie Léran,Marina Ferrand,Benoît Lacombe,Olivier Loudet,Sylvie Dinant,Catherine Bellini,Catherine Bellini,H. Ekkehard Neuhaus,Françoise Daniel-Vedele,Anne Krapp +17 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that natural variation in leaf fructose levels is controlled by the vacuolar fructose transporter SWEET17, which is highly conserved across the plant kingdom; thus, these findings offer future possibilities to modify carbohydrate partitioning in crops.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mutations in the Arabidopsis homolog of LST8/GβL, a partner of the target of Rapamycin kinase, impair plant growth, flowering, and metabolic adaptation to long days.
Manon Moreau,Manon Moreau,Marianne Azzopardi,Gilles Clément,Thomas Dobrenel,Chloé Marchive,Charlotte Renne,Marie-Laure Martin-Magniette,Ludivine Taconnat,Jean-Pierre Renou,Christophe Robaglia,Christian Meyer +11 more
TL;DR: It appears that the LST8-1 protein has an important role in regulating amino acid accumulation and the synthesis of myo-inositol and raffinose during plant adaptation to long days.
Journal ArticleDOI
The use of metabolomics integrated with transcriptomic and proteomic studies for identifying key steps involved in the control of nitrogen metabolism in crops such as maize
Nardjis Amiour,Sandrine Imbaud,Gilles Clément,Nicolas Agier,Michel Zivy,Benoît Valot,Thierry Balliau,Patrick Armengaud,Isabelle Quilleré,Rafael A. Cañas,Thérèse Tercet-Laforgue,Bertrand Hirel +11 more
TL;DR: The genetic and metabolic alterations were different during the N assimilation and the grain-filling period, indicating that plant development is an important component for identifying the key elements involved in the control of plant NUE.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nitrogen metabolism meets phytopathology
Mathilde Fagard,Alban Launay,Gilles Clément,Julia Courtial,Alia Dellagi,Mahsa Farjad,Anne Krapp,Marie-Christine Soulié,Céline Masclaux-Daubresse +8 more
TL;DR: Current knowledge of the mechanisms that link plant N status to the plant's response to pathogen infection and to the virulence and nutritional status of phytopathogens are described.
