Coded Caching under Asynchronous Demands

TL;DR: In this article, the authors considered a single-stream setting where users are allowed to request content at arbitrary time-slots and designed a pair of placement and delivery algorithms to minimize the total system delay required to serve all users, i.e. from the moment of the first request to the delivery of the last bit of requested information.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Normalized diversity receiver with multi-symbol detection

TL;DR: By deriving a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of an error floor, it is shown that, when the fading is not slow, it always exists, and decreases exponentially with the product of code diversity and space diversity.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

A New Design of Cache-aided Multiuser Private Information Retrieval with Uncoded Prefetching

TL;DR: In this paper, a cache-aided multiuser private information retrieval (MuPIR) scheme is proposed, where the cache placement and the private delivery phases are designed such that the total number of downloaded bits normalized by the message size, is minimized given any user memory size.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

A comparison of decoding techniques for Interference Alignment

TL;DR: This paper investigates the performance of the standard linear zero-forcing receiver, of linear integer forcing receivers, and of (non-linear) joint decoding implemented by lattice decoding with MMSE generalized decision feedback preprocessing and shows that the latter provides a significant improvement in terms of uncoded symbol error rate, averaged over the fading channel statistics.

Gaussian 1-2-1 Networks with Imperfect Beamforming

TL;DR: In this article, the capacity of full-duplex Gaussian 1-2-1 networks with imperfect beamforming was studied, and the gap between the approximate capacities of the imperfect and ideal 1 2 1 models for the same channel coefficients and transmit power was characterized.
