Treatment of azo dye production wastewaters using Photo-Fenton-like advanced oxidation processes: Optimization by response surface methodology

TL;DR: In this paper, the treatment of synthetic azo dye production wastewaters from Acid Blue 193 and Reactive Black 39 production and real reactive black 39 production effluent via Photo-Fenton-like process was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optimization of the photo-Fenton-like process for real and synthetic azo dye production wastewater treatment using response surface methodology.

TL;DR: The Central Composite Design technique was used to study the effect of some critical process parameters of the photo-Fenton process on synthetic Acid Blue 193 production wastewater treatment efficiency in terms of color, chemical oxygen demand (COD) and total organic carbon (TOC) removals.
Journal ArticleDOI

H2O2/UV-C treatment of the commercially important aryl sulfonates H-, K-, J-acid and Para base: assessment of photodegradation kinetics and products.

TL;DR: Results indicated that especially trisulfonated K-acid was not very prone to photochemical degradation, closely followed by the other studied aryl sulfonates, and the highest abatement rates (treatment efficiencies and reaction kinetics) were obtained for the relatively simpler structured Para base.
Journal ArticleDOI

H2O2/UV-C and Fe2+/H2O2/UV-C treatment of a commercial naphthalene sulphonate (H-acid)

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the treatability of naphthalene sulphonate, e.g. H-acid, using H2O2/UV-C and Fe2+/H2O 2/UV C photochemical oxidation processes.
