On dos languages and dos mappings
TL;DR: An algebraic characterization of a fundamental subclass of theDOS mappings generated byDOS schemes which are propagating and have no cycles of derivability among letters of the alphabet is obtained to show that the mapping equivalence problem for propagatingDOS schemes is decidable.
Journal ArticleDOI
On ET0L Systems with rank
TL;DR: It turns out that in this way one gets an infinite hierarchy of classes of languages (each one being a full AFL) within the class of ET 0 L languages.
X-Families: An Approach to the Study of Families of Syntactically Similar Languages
TL;DR: The aim of this paper is to propose the investigation of M-families, those obtained when using Marcus contextual grammars as starting point, and several properties of these families are given.
Journal ArticleDOI
On ambiguity in E0L systems
TL;DR: It is shown that if an E0L language has the negative prefix property and is E OL-unambiguous, then K+ is also EOL- unambiguous and several conjectures concerning ambiguity of EOL languages are disproved.
