TL;DR: In this paper, the existence of BICs can be identified by the singularities of effective mode polarizability, which can emerge both at and off the $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Gamma}}$ point and lead to a phase jump of the coupling strength between these modes and external waves.

TL;DR: In this article , a detector with an operating wavelength band of 5-10 μm is designed and fabricated, and the authors show that the multiplication and diffusion behaviors of quasiparticles always occur during the photon detection events, although the microscopic photodetection mechanism of superconducting nanowire still lacks a perfect theoretical explanation.
