Journal ArticleDOI

Sugar-Ester Nonionic Microemulsion: Structural Characterization.

TL;DR: The scattering results show that the sugar ester form inverse globular micelles in the oil phase, showing that the size is nearly constant in a wide SES concentration regime, but the volume or aggregation number increases significantly with SES.
Journal ArticleDOI

Improvement of SAXS measurements on Kratky slit systems by Göbel mirrors and imaging‐plate detectors

TL;DR: In this article, a slit collimation system was used to increase the primary beam intensity by a factor of about 10, which can be further improved by using a Gobel mirror, which is made of parabolically bent multilayers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dynamic and static properties of the concentrated micellar solution and gel phase of a triblock copolymer in water.

TL;DR: Both, the fast and slow diffusional modes show no angular dependence of their scattering intensities, indicating their origin from small objects, while the arrested mode comes, as expected, from structures larger than the resolution of the experiments.
Journal ArticleDOI

Light-sensitive lamellar phases.

TL;DR: These formulations display a novel transition between electrostatically- and thermally-stabilized lamellae, which may be controlled by incident UV light.
