Giant magnetic refrigerant capacity in Ho3Al2 compound

TL;DR: In this paper, magnetization and heat capacity measurements of the intermetallic Ho3Al2 compound are investigated by magnetization, heat capacity, and magnetocaloric effects of two successive magnetic transitions, a spin-reorientation (SR) transition at T-SR=31 K followed by a ferromagnetic (FM) to paramagnetic (PM) transition in T-C=40 K.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of additional elements on mechanical properties of a specially constituted Zr-based alloy

TL;DR: In this paper, six alloys having compositions (Zr0.65Cu0.18Ni0.09Al0.08) were synthesized by Cu mold casting using 2-3N pure elements.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and mechanical properties of an amorphous Zr–Ni–Al–Cu alloy

TL;DR: In this paper, Zr 64.5 Ni 15.5 Al 11.5 Cu 8.5 Alloy has been synthesized from pure elements using Cu mold-casting technique.
Journal ArticleDOI

The effect of Er-substitution on the superconducting properties of MTG-YBaCuO crystals

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of Er addition on the fluxpinning behavior has been discussed and the anisotropic factor γ = 15 was obtained from the angular dependences of the activation energy and the irreversibility temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of casting temperature on mechanical properties of Zr-based metallic glasses

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of casting temperature on microstructure and mechanical properties of as-cast 3 mm-diameter Zr(64.9)Al(7.9),Ni(10.7),Cu(16.5),Ag(7,7.5) and AL(8) alloys were investigated.
