Influence of deposition time in CdTe thin film properties grown by Close-Spaced Sublimation (CSS) for photovoltaic application

TL;DR: In this article, the impact of various deposition times on the structural, morphological, topographical, electrical and optical properties of CdTe thin films has been explored to achieve high quality thin film absorber layer for solar cells applications.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Role of Deposition Temperature in the Photovoltaic Properties of RF-Sputtered CdSe Thin Films

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of deposition or growth temperature on the structural, morphological, and opto-electrical properties of CdSe films was investigated elaborately to achieve a good-quality window layer for solar-cell applications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Impact of high resistivity transparent (HRT) layer in cadmium telluride solar cells from numerical simulation

TL;DR: In this paper, a high resistivity transparent (HRT) layer was proposed to enhance the efficiency of CdTe solar cells by adding a HRT layer to the conventional cell structure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Temperature difference in close-spaced sublimation (CSS) growth of CdTe thin film on ultra-thin glass substrate

TL;DR: In this paper, a cadmium telluride (CdTe) thin film was grown for the first time ever on ultra-thin (100µm) Schott D263T glass substrates via high temperature deposition process namely close-spaced sublimation (CSS) in order to investigate the influence of deposition temperature on the properties of CdTe thin films.
