Possible Effects of Photoelectron Emission on a Low Energy Electron Experiment

TL;DR: The HELIOS low-energy plasma-electron instrument as mentioned in this paper gave rise to a study of the possible influence of photoelectron production on the measurements of the HELIOSS.

The martian atmosphere dissipation problem: Phobos-2 TAUS experiment evidences

TL;DR: The first in-situ experimental data on the problem of martian atmosphere dissipation was provided by the Phobos-2 orbiter as discussed by the authors, which revealed the newly revealed escape of planetary heavy ions through the plasma sheet of the martian magnetotail, and the deceleration of solar wind protons upstream of the planetary bow shock.
