Journal ArticleDOI

A Strongly Coupled Graphene and FeNi Double Hydroxide Hybrid as an Excellent Electrocatalyst for the Oxygen Evolution Reaction

TL;DR: A novel strategy is used to synthesize a non-noble-metal-based electrocatalyst of the OER by finely combining layered FeNi double hydroxide that is catalytically active and electric conducting graphene sheets, taking advantage of the electrostatic attraction between the two positively charged nanosheets.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hybrid halide perovskite solar cell precursors: colloidal chemistry and coordination engineering behind device processing for high efficiency.

TL;DR: This work has identified that excess organic component can reduce the colloidal size of and tune the morphology of the coordination framework in relation to final perovskite grains and partial chlorine substitution can accelerate the crystalline nucleation process of perovkite.
Journal ArticleDOI

Inkjet Printing and Instant Chemical Transformation of a CH3NH3PbI3/Nanocarbon Electrode and Interface for Planar Perovskite Solar Cells

TL;DR: A planar perovskite solar cell that incorporates a nanocarbon hole-extraction layer is demonstrated for the first time by an inkjet printing technique with a precisely controlled pattern and interface.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of a Molecular Monolayer Modification of NiO Nanocrystal Layer Surfaces on Perovskite Crystallization and Interface Contact toward Faster Hole Extraction and Higher Photovoltaic Performance

TL;DR: In this article, large influences of a monolayer surface modification of NiO nanocrystal layers with ethanolamine molecules are demonstrated on the enhancement of hole extraction/transport and thus the photovoltaic performance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solvent Engineering Boosts the Efficiency of Paintable Carbon-Based Perovskite Solar Cells to Beyond 14%

TL;DR: In this article, a solvent engineering strategy based on two-step sequential method is exploited to prepare a high-quality perovskite layer for the paintable carbon-based PSCs in which the solvent for CH3NH3I (MAI) solution at the second step is changed from isopropanol (IPA) to a mixed solvent of IPA/Cyclohexane (CYHEX).
