Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced activity of mesoporous Nb2O5 for photocatalytic hydrogen production

TL;DR: The mesoporous structure of the as-made samples was studied by small-angle X-ray diffraction, N 2 adsorption-desorption isothermal and transmission electron microscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Visible-Light-Induced Photocatalytic Oxidation of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons over Tantalum Oxynitride Photocatalysts

TL;DR: The photooxidations of five typical polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) were investigated by using tantalum oxynitride and Pt-tantalum oxlynitride as visible light-driven photocatalysts and the possible photooxidation pathways of PAHs were proposed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electronic Structure and Photocatalytic Characterization of a Novel Photocatalyst AgAlO2

TL;DR: It was found that AgAlO2 is an indirect band gap semiconductor that decomposes the dye alizarin red under visible light irradiation and could be decomposed about 70% under 2 h of visible light radiation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation of sensitized ZnS and its photocatalytic activity under visible light irradiation

TL;DR: In this paper, the photocatalytic properties of the prepared ZnS powders were evaluated by decomposing methyl orange (MO) and showed that the preconditioned powders with a proper molar ratio showed higher photocatallytic activity than TiO2(P25) under visible light irradiation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation of Fe2O3/SrTiO3 composite powders and their photocatalytic properties

TL;DR: In this paper, the photocatalytic properties of Fe 2 O 3 /SrTiO 3 composite powders were investigated by photooxidizing methanol, and the results showed that the composite powder with the optimum proportion exhibited higher photocatalysis activity than pure SrTiO3, Fe 2O 3, and TiO 2 (P25) under visible light (λ > 440nm) irradiation.
