Bicyclic thiaspiro[4.n]alkanones: investigating their total stereochemistry achieved by the catalyst-free sulfa-Michael reaction
Alex Ketzer,Érica G. Oliveira,Sarah F. Coelho,Yuri G. Kappenberg,Felipe S. Stefanello,Nilo Zanatta,Marcos A. P. Martins,Clarissa P. Frizzo,Helio G. Bonacorso +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a series of bicyclic 1-aryl-4-hydroxy-2-thiaspiro[4.5]alkan-6-one analogues were obtained from a catalyst-free sulfa-Michael reaction in refluxing ethanol as a solvent at up to 98% of yield.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of New 1,1′‐Carbonyl‐bis[3‐aryl(heteroaryl)‐5‐(trihalomethyl)‐1H‐pyrazoles] and Trifluoromethyl Derivatives Through Ring‐Opening Reactions.
Helio G. Bonacorso,Cleber A. Cechinel,Liliane M. F. Porte,Jussara Navarini,Susiane Cavinatto,Ronan C. Sehnem,Demetrius B. Martins,Nilo Zanatta,Marcos A. P. Martins +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, a simple, convenient and regioselective one-pot condensation reaction is used for the preparation of the title pyrazoles, e.g. (III).

An Efficient Synthesis of Oxa- and Aza-Condensed Tetrahydropyridines from Cyclic Enones.
Nilo Zanatta,Liana S. da Fernandes,Sinara Muenchen,Helena S. Coelho,Simone S. Amaral,Leonardo Fantinel,Helio G. Bonacorso,Marcos A. P. Martins +7 more
TL;DR: The reaction of cyclic enones (I) with diamines or amino alcohols affords the products with high purity in good to excellent yields as discussed by the authors, and the reaction of enones with diamine or amino acid can be found in the literature.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of 1H‐1,2,3‐Triazoles—Rufinamide Analogues by 1,3‐Dipolar Cycloaddition and Electrocyclization Reactions of Trifluoroacetyl Enolethers under Thermal Solventless Conditions.
Helio G. Bonacorso,Maiara C. Moraes,Carson W. Wiethan,Fábio M. Luz,Alexandre R. Meyer,Nilo Zanatta,Marcos A. P. Martins +6 more
TL;DR: Rufinamide analogues of type (III)/(IV) are prepared by 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition and/or electrocyclization reactions of trifluoroalkenones of type with 2,6-difluorobenzyl azide (II).
