Bicyclic thiaspiro[4.n]alkanones: investigating their total stereochemistry achieved by the catalyst-free sulfa-Michael reaction

TL;DR: In this paper , a series of bicyclic 1-aryl-4-hydroxy-2-thiaspiro[4.5]alkan-6-one analogues were obtained from a catalyst-free sulfa-Michael reaction in refluxing ethanol as a solvent at up to 98% of yield.
Journal ArticleDOI

An Efficient Synthesis of Oxa- and Aza-Condensed Tetrahydropyridines from Cyclic Enones.

TL;DR: The reaction of cyclic enones (I) with diamines or amino alcohols affords the products with high purity in good to excellent yields as discussed by the authors, and the reaction of enones with diamine or amino acid can be found in the literature.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of 1H‐1,2,3‐Triazoles—Rufinamide Analogues by 1,3‐Dipolar Cycloaddition and Electrocyclization Reactions of Trifluoroacetyl Enolethers under Thermal Solventless Conditions.

TL;DR: Rufinamide analogues of type (III)/(IV) are prepared by 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition and/or electrocyclization reactions of trifluoroalkenones of type with 2,6-difluorobenzyl azide (II).
