Journal ArticleDOI

Brucellar spondylodiscitis: case report.

TL;DR: An atypical presentation of spondylitis is illustrated and the difficulties in diagnosing the aetiological agens Brucella and differentiating its specific features from tuberculosis are pointed out.
Journal ArticleDOI

The effect of low doses of prednisolone on T-cell subsets in rheumatoid arthritis.

TL;DR: Administration of up to 10 mg prednisolone affects the suppressor-cytotoxic (okT8+) absolute cell numbers only in patients with initially low OKT4+/OKT8+ ratios and not the values of OKT8+, since these patients already have low OKt8+ cell counts.
Journal Article

Familial aggregation in seronegative spondyloarthritis of enterogenic origin. A family study.

TL;DR: The familial aggregation of the seronegative spondyloarthritides is demonstrated, and the lesions found on ileal biopsy in reactive synovitis and AS with peripheral arthritis may be related to Crohn's disease.
Journal Article

Bone scintigraphy of the hands in early stage lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis.

TL;DR: Bone scintigraphy may be useful to differentiate SLE from RA in early stage disease, and locations of bone scintigraphic findings were correlated to clinical findings.
Journal Article

Peripheral blood T lymphocyte subpopulations determined by monoclonal antibodies in active rheumatoid arthritis

TL;DR: This study confirms the reports, which suggested that the number of suppressor/cytotoxic T lymphocytes (OKT8+ cells/mm3) is decreased in patients with active RA, resulting in a high T helper/inducer lymphocyte/T suppressor/.
