Journal ArticleDOI

Exafs study of bromine-doped polyacetylene

TL;DR: Extended X-ray absorption-fine-structure (EXAFS) measurements have been made on the Br K absorption of Br-doped polyacetylene at 300 K as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characterization of neutral soliton dynamics in pristine trans-polyacetylene by means of anisotropic ESR T1 and line width

TL;DR: In this article, anisotropy patterns for ESR T1 and line width at 300 K and at 50, 500 MHz and X-band were reported, and the phase and frequency dependences of all patterns were understood by rapid 1-D diffusion of neutral solitons, except for line width of t−(CH)x, which could be reasonably interpreted by the trapping effect.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of a novel liquid crystalline polymer, poly(2,5-didecyloxy-1,4-phenylenebutadiynylene)

TL;DR: In this article, a new soluble and fusible poly(2,5-didecyloxy-1,4-phenylenebutadiynylene) showing intense fluorescence, semiconducting properties upon doping with H2SO4, and thermotropic liquid crystalline properties.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electron-Nuclear Double Resonance Studies of Pristine and 13C-Enriched Polyacetylene

TL;DR: In this paper, the spin density distribution of the soliton predicted for a finite electron correlation was determined to be ρ(1)/ρ(0)∼-0.44 with the aid of endor-induced ESR measurements.
