Journal ArticleDOI
Basic similarities among cuprate, bismuthate, organic, Chevrel-phase, and heavy-fermion superconductors shown by penetration-depth measurements.
Yohei Uemura,L. P. Le,Graeme Luke,B. J. Sternlieb,Wenjing Wu,Jess H. Brewer,T. M. Riseman,C. L. Seaman,M. B. Maple,Masayasu Ishikawa,D. G. Hinks,James D. Jorgensen,Gunzi Saito,Hideki Yamochi +13 more
TL;DR: Muon-spin-relaxation and bulk measurements of the magnetic-field penetration depth suggest that the cuprate high-{ital T}{sub {ital c}}, bismuthate, organic Chevrel-phase, and heavy-fermion systems possibly belong to a unique group of superconductors characterized by high transition temperatures.
Journal ArticleDOI
A New Ambient Pressure Organic Superconductor Based on BEDT-TTF with TC Higher than 10 K (TC=10.4 K)
Hatsumi Urayama,Hideki Yamochi,Gunzi Saito,Kiyokazu Nozawa,Tadashi Sugano,Minoru Kinoshita,Shoichi Sato,Kokichi Oshima,Atsushi Kawamoto,Jiro Tanaka +9 more
TL;DR: An ambient pressure superconductivity of (BEDT-TTF)2Cu(SCN)2 was observed by d.c. magnetic susceptibility and electrical conductivity measurements as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Gigantic Photoresponse in ¼-Filled-Band Organic Salt (EDO-TTF)2PF6
Matthieu Chollet,Laurent Guérin,Laurent Guérin,Naoki Uchida,Souichi Fukaya,Hiroaki Shimoda,T. Ishikawa,Kazunari Matsuda,T. Hasegawa,Akira Ota,Hideki Yamochi,Gunzi Saito,Ryoko Tazaki,Ryoko Tazaki,Shin-ichi Adachi,Shin-ya Koshihara,Shin-ya Koshihara +16 more
TL;DR: The observed photo-induced spectroscopic change shows that this photoinduced phase transition process is caused by the cooperative melting of charge ordering assisted by coherent phonon generation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Shubnikov-de Haas effect and the Fermi surface in an ambient-pressure organic superconductor
TL;DR: The first unambiguous report on the Shubnikov-de Haas (SdH) effect in organic compounds was given in this paper, where the SdH signal is observed below 1 K, above 8 T, and at angles between the crystal and a magnetic field of less than 30 degrees.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mapping molecular motions leading to charge delocalization with ultrabright electrons
Meng Gao,Meng Gao,Cheng Lu,Hubert Jean-Ruel,Hubert Jean-Ruel,Lai Chung Liu,Lai Chung Liu,Alexander Marx,Ken Onda,Ken Onda,Shin-ya Koshihara,Yoshiaki Nakano,Xiangfeng Shao,Takaaki Hiramatsu,Gunzi Saito,Hideki Yamochi,Ryan R. Cooney,Ryan R. Cooney,Gustavo Moriena,Gustavo Moriena,Germán Sciaini,Germán Sciaini,R. J. Dwayne Miller,R. J. Dwayne Miller +23 more
TL;DR: An ultrabright femtosecond electron source is used to monitor the molecular motions in the organic salt (EDO-TTF)2PF6 as it undergoes its photo-induced insulator-to-metal phase transition as discussed by the authors.
