Scalable production of embryonic stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes.

TL;DR: The results demonstrate the feasibility of large-scale production of viable, ES cell-derived cardiomyocytes for tissue engineering and/or implantation, an approach that should be transferable to other ES cell derived lineages, as well as to adult stem cells with in vitroCardiomyogenic activity.

Methods and cell populations for identifying and validating genomic targets, and for drug screening

TL;DR: In this paper, isolated, stem-cell derived cell populations and methods of use thereof are described and used for genomic target identification, validation of conventionally obtained genomic targets using e.g. expression profiling, positional cloning and/or transgenic animals, lineage-specific and or transgene-specific drug screening and pharmacogenomics analysis.
