Journal ArticleDOI

High-resolution time-of-flight terahertz tomography using a femtosecond fiber laser

TL;DR: To the authors' knowledge, this is the first demonstration of terahertz tomographic imaging of such a thin layer, using a reflection-type terAhertz time-domain spectroscopy using a robust all-fiber laser.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hydrogen absorption of nanocrystalline palladium

TL;DR: In this paper, the properties of hydrogen in nanocrystalline Pd (Pd-n) were determined by pressure-composition (P-C ) isotherms.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of the pulverization of LaNi5 on the hydrogen absorption rate and the X-ray diffraction patterns

TL;DR: In this article, an automated Sieverts-type apparatus was developed to measure the change in the rate of the hydrogen reaction with LaNi5 and the statistical size distribution of the alloy particles as a function of the number of hydrogen absorption-desorption cycles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of Ti–Fe alloys by mechanical alloying

TL;DR: In this paper, a single phase alloy with CsCl-type structure was synthesized after 20h of ball milling (mechanical alloying) and the first plateau pressure was found at 0.5 MPa which was slightly higher than the value previously reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Surface processes of H2 on rare earth based hydrogen storage alloys with various surface modifications

TL;DR: In this paper, the surface processes in H2 absorption by rare earth-based hydrogen storage alloys (RE•HSA) have been studied and the typical and significant results for surface processes have been presented.
