Gram-scale synthesis of coordination polymer nanodots with renal clearance properties for cancer theranostic applications

TL;DR: P pH-activated nanodots composed of coordination polymers were synthesized via a simple and scalable method based on coordination reactions among Fe3+, gallic acid and poly(vinylpyrrolidone) at ambient conditions and greatly increased the tumour-imaging sensitivity and facilitated renal clearance after injection in animal models in vivo.
Journal ArticleDOI

Point-of-care testing based on smartphone: The current state-of-the-art (2017-2018).

TL;DR: A comprehensive review of the development of smartphone-based POCT devices over the past two years and assessed their relative merits and drawbacks, illustrating that the various technological and economical requirements are urgent and tremendous.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Route to Terahertz Metamaterial Biosensor Integrated with Microfluidics for Liver Cancer Biomarker Testing in Early Stage.

TL;DR: Two kinds of THz metamaterials biosensor integrated with microfluidics were fabricated and used to detect the Alpha fetoprotein and Glutamine transferase isozymes II of liver cancer biomarker in early stage and demonstrated the power and usefulness of meetingamaterial-assisted THz spectroscopy in trace cancer biomarkers molecular detection for biological and chemical sensing.
Journal ArticleDOI

Recent Progress in Optical Biosensors Based on Smartphone Platforms

TL;DR: Critically review the most recent progress in imaging-based and spectrometry-based smartphone-integrated platforms that have been developed for chemical experiments and biological diagnosis and focuses on the analytical performance and the complexity for implementation of the platforms.
Journal ArticleDOI

A highly efficient thermo-optic microring modulator assisted by graphene

TL;DR: Graphene-based optical modulators were demonstrated to be featured with a broadband response, small footprint, ultrafast speed and CMOS-compatibility, which may provide an alternative architecture for light-modulation in integrated photonic circuits.
