Journal ArticleDOI

A One-Pot Synthesis of Dibenzofurans from 6-Diazo-2-cyclohexenones

TL;DR: A novel and efficient protocol for the rapid construction of dibenzofuran motifs from 6-diazo-2-cyclohexenone and ortho-haloiodobenzene has been developed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Silver(I)-catalyzed ring-contractive rearrangement: a new entry to 5-alkylidene-2-cyclopentenones.

TL;DR: A novel silver(I)-catalyzed ring-contractive rearrangement of 5-substituted 6-diazo- 2-cyclohexenones has been developed, providing a new and efficient access to 5-alkylidene-2-cyclopentenones.
Journal ArticleDOI

A One-Pot Synthesis of Dibenzofurans from 6-Diazo-2-cyclohexenones.

TL;DR: In this paper, a rapid approach based on a one-pot Pd-catalyzed crosscoupling/aromatization/Ullmann coupling reaction sequence of 6-diazo-2-cyclohexenones with 2-haloiodobenzenes was proposed.
Journal ArticleDOI

First total synthesis of (−)-salprzelactone

TL;DR: The first enantioselective total synthesis of (−)-salprzelactone, a seco-norabietane diterpenoid has been accomplished in only three steps.
Journal ArticleDOI

Silver(I)-Catalyzed Ring-Contractive Rearrangement: A New Entry to 5-Alkylidene-2-cyclopentenones.

TL;DR: In this article, the rearrangement of 6-diazo-2-cyclohexenones is investigated and found to tolerate substrates bearing alkyl, alkenyl, and aryl substituents with a substituent in position 5 being essential for the formation of the desired products.
