Journal ArticleDOI
Detection of Chlamydia pneumoniae in peripheral blood mononuclear cells of healthy blood donors in Tehran Regional Educational Blood Transfusion Centre.
TL;DR: Chlamydia pneumoniae DNA seems to be frequent in apparently healthy blood donors; therefore, it can be a threat for blood safety and further studies are needed to evaluate the survival of C. pneumoniae in blood bank conditions and in blood recipients to define the clinical importance of such findings.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optimal Cutoff Points for Anthropometric Variables to Predict Insulin Resistance in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.
TL;DR: It was concluded that there were simple anthropometric variables; e.g., WC × BMI, percentage of BW, and WC that could help to estimate IR in clinical settings especially when the gold standard or surrogate markers of IR were unavailable.
Journal ArticleDOI
Elastic-Plastic Analysis of Bending Moment – Axial Force Interaction in Metallic Beam of T-Section
Hossein Hatami,Mojtaba Hosseini +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors derived kinematic admissible bending moment (M-P) interaction relations for mild steel by considering elastic-plastic idealizations, which can predict strains, which is not possible in a rigid perfectly plastic idealization.
