Journal ArticleDOI

Attitude extremity, consensus and diagnosticity

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of attitude extremity on perceived consensus and willingness to ascribe trait terms to others with either pro- or antinuclear attitudes were studied, and it was found that attitude extremities affected consensus estimates.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bicuculline increases the intracellular calcium response of CA1 hippocampal neurons to synaptic stimulation

TL;DR: Concomitantly performed extra- and intracellular electrophysiological recordings indicate that the increased calcium response in the presence of bicuculline is linked to a prolongation of the excitatory postsynaptic potential and the induction of multiple action potentials.
Journal ArticleDOI

Force, speed and power output of the human upper limb during horizontal pulls.

TL;DR: How force, speed and power output of horizontal pulling with the upper limb was affected by the height of pull was examined to confirm the importance of degree of reach upon the dynamic performance, and over a greater range of velocities than has been studied previously.
