Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: An ESR study of the pH dependence of DSA binding indicates that salt bridge formation with lysine is responsible for at least some of the long chain fatty acid binding sites of BSA.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, a formalism for computing 2D ESR lineshapes with nuclear modulation is developed in a form which is useful for planning phase cycles for particular purposes, and a simple method of processing spectra, utilizing quadrature detection, is shown to enhance the selectivity of the phase cycling techniques.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, the two-dimensional Fourier transform ESP techniques of stimulated SECSY and 2D-ELDOR are shown to be powerful methods for the study of slow motions for nitroxides.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of cholesterol on the dynamics of cholestane spin probe (CSL) in various phosphatidylcholine-cholesterol mixed model membranes are examined.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, a two-body Smoluchowski equation, including a solute molecule and a collective solvent mode, is developed for studying reorientational dynamics in complex fluids, and multiexponential decay correlation functions for first- and second-rank observables are computed.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, a multidimensional Fokker-Planck-Kramers equation for rotational relaxation of small solutes in complex liquids is developed wherein collective solvent effects are explicitly represented by rotating torques and stochastic fields.

TL;DR: In this paper, the longitudinal spin diffusion coefficient in spin polarized atomic hydrogen was measured for temperatures between 160 and 537 mK and for densities between 7×1015 and 5 × 1016 cm−3.
Abstract: We describe the measurement of the longitudinal spin diffusion coefficient D0 in spin polarized atomic hydrogen through a detailed spectroscopic study of the small tipping angle, pulsed NMR frequency spectrum. Measurements are discussed for temperatures between 160 and 537 mK and for densities between 7×1015 and 5 × 1016cm−3 and are in good agreement with the theory. At low densities (
