TL;DR: Among gay and bisexual men using PrEP, STIs were highly concentrated among a subset, and receipt of PrEP after study enrollment was associated with an increased incidence of STIs compared with preenrollment, highlighting the importance of frequent STI testing.

TL;DR: In this paper, the FaceSpace Project, a sexual health promotion intervention using social networking sites targeting two key at-risk groups, is described and recommended for developing and implementing health promotion interventions on these sites, including establishing a multidisciplinary team, allowing adequate time for obtaining approvals, securing sufficient resources for building and maintaining an online presence, and developing an integrated process and impact evaluation framework.
