27.1GHz CMOS distributed voltage controlled oscillators with body bias for frequency tuning of 1.28GHz

TL;DR: In this paper, the feasibility of using standard 0.18µm CMOS technology for low cost wideband monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs) at ∼27GHz is demonstrated.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

A novel hemispherical dielectric resonator antenna with Swastika shaped DGS for high gain applications

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of loading a swastika shaped Defected Ground Structure (DGS) on a Hemispherical DRA was investigated, and the optimized dimensions, calculated through rigorous parametric sweeps, of the swastika DGS are a=0.54, b= 0.59, and c=0.08 cms.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Multiple band notch filter using contiguous split ring resonators (SRR)

TL;DR: In this paper, a compact multiple band notch filter (MBNF) was proposed to avoid the undesired interference caused by coexisting and emerging wireless technologies, which is implemented on RT/Duroid 5880 (e r = 22) substrate of thickness 0785 mm and surface area of 14 × 14 sq mm.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Compact UWB ring sectoral monopole antenna with dual polarization

TL;DR: In this paper, a dual-polarized ring Sectoral Monopole Antenna (RSMA) with defected ground is presented for UWB applications, which is fabricated on a RT/Duroid5880 (er = 2.2) substrate having thickness of 0.785 mm with total real estate of 20×28 mm2.
